The Turra Coo
A fairly recent but very important addition to Turriff’s local attractions. Go and admire her on the High Street and read about her history.

Turriff Sports Centre
Also very close to the caravan park, offers a range of activities, health suite and all-weather pitches for football and tennis. For further information and opening times call 01888 563800.
Turriff Golf Club
Established over 100 years ago, this is an 18 hole course, with clubhouse serving drinks and good home cooking. Entrance is at Rosehall, overlooking the town. Call 01888 562982 for details and bookings.

Turriff & District Heritage Society
Based in the Auld Post Office Museum, 24 High Street, the Society organises a number of events throughout the year and is open most mornings during the summer (Friday mornings from 10am – 12.00 during the winter).
If you are looking to trace your family roots, this is the best place to start, and you will find enthusiastic and very knowledgeable volunteers ready and willing to help you. Don’t forget to visit the Cottage Museum too! Call 01888 562800 for further details.

Delgatie Castle
Signposted just outside Turriff, going north, off the A947, was originally built in 1049 and is the official Clan Hay Centre. Refurbishing this historic castle has been a labour of love, and it is well worth a visit.

Fyvie Castle

About 40 minutes drive from Turriff on the A947 going north. Banff is a vibrant small town with independent shops, cafes and a good coastal walk.

Aberdeen
If the weather is not so great and you fancy a trip into Aberdeen, the bus 305 or 325 departs every hour from the bus-stop opposite Costcutters.
The journey takes approximately 1 hour 20 minutes to the bus station in Union Square where you have 2 floors of shop and restaurants plus a 10-screen cinema.
